A  very cute mini-tray featuring the ‘Golden Miffy’ figurine, designed by Dutch artist Marte Röling. The combination with a stunning turqouise bonboniere and a matching round, friendly vase make do for a sweet little still-life. ‘Golden Miffy’ (Gouden Nijntje) is a collectable and signed, 15 cm tall replica from the Miffy Art Parade original statue from 2015 by Marte Röling. On this tray; which is oval with straight edges made from black bakelite (Philite). A turquoise bonboniere in pressed glass (1950s?). (Both items are vintage in mint condition) A pink, handmade, vase in glass (has minor surface scrathes at the rim). Nijntje (Miffy in English) is created by Dutch illustrator Dick Bruna, he created Nijntje in 1955. Nijntje is known worldwide as Miffy. Miffy is a small female rabbit in a series of picture books drawn and written by Dutch artist Dick Bruna. The original Dutch name, Nijntje, is a shortening of the diminutive konijntje, “little rabbit”. Nijntje has got her own museum in Utrecht, The Netherlands.
